“For the sake of art. The restoration of three Mirandola masterpieces”

The exhibition, opened on Saturday, January 31, takes back to Mirandola three precious works of art which were seriously damaged by the earthquake of May 2012 and recently restored: the Crucifix of the Collegiate of Santa Maria Maggiore and the paintings that portray the Conversion of Saulo by Sante Peranda and the Madonna of Loreto with the Child in glory and Saints by Annibale Castelli, which are municipal property.

With CIMA and some other local companies support, promoted by  the Municipality of Mirandola and the Superintendent BSAE of Modena and Reggio Emilia, in cooperation with Fondazione Centro Conservazione e Restauro “La Venaria Reale”, Reggia di Venaria and the Parish of Santa Maria Maggiore of Mirandola, the exhibition will be open to the public from 1 February to 31 March 2015.
